By popular request I am continuing my
"broadcast" of this annual event.
Day Two arrived at a pace. Overnight temperatures of 28 degrees
rapidly increased to 39 degrees by breakfast time.
The first event of the day was the flea market at 09.00. Spanish, English and German stall holders endeavoured to sell their
wares whilst remaining in the relative sanctuary of their umbrellas.
Late afternoon brought personal relaxation when a spot of fishing
was in order - see picture below. Unfortunately, you cannot quite see
the full extent of my ace photographer's rod! On this occasion the fish were too
cute for capture however, judging by the amount of bait that they
took, they will be that much fatter tomorrow morning at high tide.
Watch out you "peces"!

As evening crept over the village, excitement was in the air.
Villagers jostled for position to ensure a good seat for the first
event - "Dinner Bingo" played with a backdrop of the moon shining on
the water of the Old Harbour.
After the first house had been won for 70 Euros, interest increased
and there seemed to be feverish activity as a further three tables
were erected.
At the end of the games all the players were rewarded by having
their Bingo cards replaced by a dinner plate overflowing with local
cuisine. (see picture below)

Elsewhere in the village another
white wall had become the backdrop for the evening
Film. This time the Community Hall won centre stage
where seating was more informal than the previous
night. People sat on walls, benches, pavements,
floor and even on the children's playground
equipment next door. Excitement ensured.
Day Two drew to a close with
fireworks and contented inhabitants making their way
home where they continued the festivities in the
“privacy of their own homes", roofs and any
surrounding pavement areas throughout the village.
